26/11/2007 - Pizza Dough


  • 400g of plain flour
  • 250g of semolina
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon yeast
  • 6 table spoons oil
  • Some warm water


Sieve flour and salt.  Add semolina and yeast.  Mix together.  Melt sugar in some warm water and then add to the mixture.  Add oil and enough warm water and mix.  The mixture has to be sticky not dry.  Cover the bowl and put in a warm and dark place until it doubles.


Preheat your oven and ensure that most of heat comes from bottom of oven. The ingredients on pizzas do not need intense cooking.  Combine toppings to your taste using Country Pizza Seasoning or Country Oregano.  Always finish off with olive oil.
